OUR FOUNDER
Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Sarah Lock has a campaigner personality and visionary spirit with a passion for helping other high-energy entrepreneurs actualize their potential and make shi(f)t happen.
After high school at The Westminster Schools, Sarah graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Music Technology from Georgia State University’s Honors Program. She began her career working as a digital marketing assistant at Charisma Communications, a Tampa-based marketing firm. In this role, she honed her skills in copywriting, email marketing, web design, SEO, marketing analysis, and social media management, managing accounts across diverse industries, from HVAC and plumbing to luxury interior design and integrative healthcare.
Over time, she secured clients in Macon and Atlanta, helping them stand out as leaders in their fields and earn acclaim from publications such as Best Self Atlanta Magazine, Southern Living Magazine, and Taste of the South Magazine.
After two years of refining her business vision, Sarah officially launched Root Bound Media in Summer 2024.
She has since worked with a range of solo entrepreneurs and medium-sized corporations in fields from veterinary technology and nonprofit music education to vintage clothing and video production.
Her mission is to help industry leaders, creative thinkers, and community wave makers grow their businesses and REACH BEYOND LIMITS.
